It is our belief that the Father wants us to bring his love to the whole world. As John Wesley once said, ‘the world is my parish’. This means that Father’s House is dedicated to communicating the Father’s love locally, regionally, nationally and globally. We are committed to working in partnership with other ministries at each of these four levels that share the same vision and values as Father’s House. We also aim to begin in Watford and then extend beyond those borders to the county, the country and the Continents.
Watford has a special place in our hearts. But then beyond that we have a desire to link up with other accredited ministries dedicated to the Father message in the UK and beyond. We have a longing to see a Reformation in the Father’s love in the UK and throughout Europe. Indeed we want to see the European church awakened by the Father’s love. Beyond that we have a deep desire to see the message and ministry of Father’s house in other Continents, particularly Africa.
While this message is for everyone, our focus is mainly (though not exclusively) on leaders. If the hearts of the leaders can be transformed by the Father’s love, then the hearts of the people they influence can be transformed too. Study of the Scriptures reveals that the biblical pattern for transformation is this: first the leaders, then God’s people, then the nation:
We believe that the Father wants us to bring the message and ministry of his love first of all to his leaders, then beyond that to his people (the church), in order that the nations – currently experiencing a pandemic of fatherlessness – may know the saving, healing power of the Father’s love. This is illustrated by the life of John Wesley. First Wesley’s heart was strangely warmed; then the hearts of believers were transformed too; beyond that, an entire nation was changed (indeed, England was saved from the equivalent of the French Revolution). This highlights the fact that the heart of revival is the revival of the heart and the hearts of the leaders need to be revived first. Leaders are the key. If they can be set free, then those around them can be set free as well. So our primary focus is leaders... not just church leaders, but leaders in business, government, arts and entertainment, media, education, and other walks of life. The Father’s House is first and foremost dedicated to influencing the influencers, especially the emerging generation of leaders.
